Adding two more players to an increasingly crowded roster, the American Hockey League's Lehigh Valley Phantoms announced on Friday that they have signed veteran defenseman Logan Pyett and forward Geoff Walker to one-year AHL deals. Walker, 27, is a big (6-foot-3, 220 pound) and gritty power winger who has shuttled between the ECHL level and the AHL in his career and spent the entire 2014-15 season in the ECHL with the Ontario Reign and Missouri Mavericks. His best AHL season came in 2011-12, when he produced 44 points (18 goals, 26 assists) and 114 penalty minutes in 68 games for the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins.
With a seeming overflow of players on NHL two-way deals and AHL contracts, the Phantoms may end up having some excess roster players who end up getting assigned to the ECHL's Reading Royals. (...) Up front, Walker will compete for a fourth-line role for new coach Scott Gordon's club but could also end up in Reading.

Sorry, ich verstehe nicht, was daran so zum Lachen ist? Ich weiß selbst, dass Pfleger sich inzwischen in der DEL mehr als nur etabliert hat. Aber wenn ich hier so manche Wünsche im Gerüchte-Thread sehe, ist mein Wunschgedanke doch noch harmlos. Aber schon gut @Mäcks. Freut mich, dass ich Dir den Tag verschönern konnte.
